The AACN Certification Corporation will provide written and/or verbal verification of certification for the following credentials: CCRN, PCCN, CCNS, ACNPC, CMC and CSC.
Certificants who require verification of their current certification may log-in to the AACN Website at www.aacn.org and click on "My Account". Next click on "Check Certification Status". This will provide you with a printable verification of your certification status.
Certificants may also contact AACN Certification Corporation by calling 800-899-2226 or e-mailing certification@aacn.org. Please provide your AACN customer number, first and last name, where you would like the verification sent, how you would like it sent (fax, e-mail, mail), and the best way to contact you should we have questions.
Verifications will be completed within 48-72 hours of receipt. Requests are fulfilled in the order in which they are received. There is no charge for verifications.
Employers and/or agencies requiring verification must send a release, signed by the certified nurse, allowing AACN Certification Corporation to distribute the requested information. The request must contain any applicable information including: name, maiden name or all other legal names, certification number and/or AACN customer number, type of certification, date of birth, and any additional information that may be useful in locating the certificant's record.
