Tuesday, May 6, 2008 & Wednesday, May 7, 2008
10:15 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

We invite you to view the Chapter Best Practice Posters, and meet the authors for an opportunity to speak with them about their research findings and experience. The posters will be located at McCormick Place West Convention Center, in the area of the AACN Resource Center allowing for better viewing and more convenience for attendees.

This year there will be two poster sessions as opposed to all posters being available for the entire conference. This will better accommodate the learning needs of attendees and scheduling of everyone's time.

Chapter Rebate

AACN will again be offering a $75 rebate to chapter members who register to attend the National Teaching Institute (NTI) in Chicago, May 5-8, 2008. Click here for the Mail-In Rebate Form.

Things you should know about the rebate:
  • The $75 rebate on the NTI registration fee is available to any chapter member.
  • Application requirements have been significantly decreased this year– simply complete the rebate form and attach proof of your chapter membership. (Proof of chapter membership is required because National no longer requires the chapters to report their membership list on an annual basis.)
  • Submit your rebate application anytime after you receive confirmation that your NTI registration has been processed. You do not need to wait until after NTI. In fact, by submitting it early, it is possible that you'll receive your rebate before NTI.
  • You'll receive your rebate in the same form that you paid for the conference. If you paid on credit card, the rebate will be credited to your card; if you paid by check, the rebate will sent to you as a check.
  • We'll process your rebate as soon as possible, but due to the need to process all NTI applications that are also arriving during this timeframe, it may take up to 12 weeks.
  • The deadline to submit your rebate is June 1, 2008 (all rebates must be postmarked by this date). This deadline allows AACN to process all the rebates in a timely manner after NTI and is necessary so that AACN can close out the fiscal year financials. AACN's fiscal year ends on June 30th.
We hope this information was useful to you. If you have additional questions, please submit them to us at chapters@aacn.org.
Host Chapters – The Greater Chicago Area Chapter & Northwest Chicago Area Chapter

Be sure to stop by the Host Chapter booth and meet chapter members and leaders from the Chicago area. While you're there, be sure to get your official NTI T-shirt. Get 'em while they're hot, because they do sell out.
