The Advanced Practice Institute™ -- A Conference Within a Conference
The Advanced Practice Institute™ (API) is fully integrated within the National
Teaching Institute but offers preconferences, clinical sessions, leadership/role
development, pharmacology and mastery sessions specifically targeted to meet the
needs of the advanced practice nurse. In addition, advanced practice nurses have
access to all NTI educational sessions, networking opportunities, exhibits and entertainment
events. Look for the symbol AP, which denotes special API sessions.
Pharmacology Sessions Offered in 2004
In Orlando, the API will offer approximately 10.5 hours of pharmacology content.
Advanced practice nurses requiring this category of credit for licensure and/or
recertification, should look for the symbol RX in the program listing as
a means of identifying those sessions with pharmacology content.
